News: Teen, 14, killed in motorcycle rear-end collision in Peoria 

PEORIA, AZ – A 14-year-old suffered fatal injuries as a result of a motorcycle rear-end collision that happened on Old Carefree Highway on Sunday.

According to 12News, the crash occurred after one motorcyclist was slowing down and negotiating a curve when they were rear-ended by another motorcycle.

The passengers from the struck motorcycle were all ejected, including the 14-year-old boy. EMS crews declared the teen dead at the scene and transported the other three motorcycle occupants to a hospital for treatment.

Peoria Police do not suspect impairment was a contributing factor in the crash.

Peoria officers launched an investigation.
