News: Suspected impaired driver collides with horse in north Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – Two people were hurt when an alleged impaired driver hit a horse near N 27th Ave and W Joy Ranch Rd on Sunday, according to AZFamily.

The driver struck the horse around 1:45 a.m.

Paramedics transported the two occupants of the vehicle to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The horse died in the collision.

Authorities believe the driver was impaired and have charged them.
