News: Suspected impaired driver collides with another vehicle near Rayburn Acres

PHOENIX, AZ – Two people were hurt when an alleged drunk driver collided with their vehicle near 40th St and E University Dr on Friday, according to CBS 5.

The drivers of a Crossover SUV and a pickup truck collided around 12:30 a.m.

Rescue crews transported a man and a woman from one of the vehicles to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities arrested the other driver for suspected DUI.

The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the incident.
