News: Suspect sought in deadly hit-and-run crash in downtown Phoenix 

DOWNTOWN PHOENIX, AZ – The Phoenix Police are looking for a hit-and-run suspect who was responsible for a deadly crash that happened in downtown Phoenix Sunday.

According to AZ Family, the suspect, who was believed to have been driving a dark-colored pickup truck, struck a woman near North 19th Avenue and West Van Buren Street. The collision happened around 10 p.m., and officers responded to the scene a short time later. Upon arrival, police declared the woman dead.

The victim has since been identified as Celeste Gomez.

Any member of the public who provides information that leads to an arrest may be entitled to a $2,000 reward. Anyone with more information is urged to contact the police department straight away.
