PHOENIX, AZ – According to 12 News, the second teen hospitalized following an ATV crash near N 47th Ave and W Cholla St on Feb. 6 has died.
Hunter Strode, 18, was driving the ATV when he crashed through a gate near the canal, flipped over, and landed upside down in the canal.
First responders transported Strode and his 16-year-old male passenger to area hospitals in critical condition. They have both died.
The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the incident.
