NORTH PHOENIX, AZ – A red light runner was killed, and two others were injured in a crash in North Phoenix on Friday, according to Arizona Family.
Preliminary details show that around 7:30 p.m., a 24-year-old man, driving a Chevy pickup truck, ran a stop sign on westbound East Dale Lane and collided with an Audi sedan at Long 44th Street, near Cave Creek Road and Dynamite Boulevard.
The impact of the collision left the 24-year-old man, Cole Chadwick, in serious condition, and the man and woman in the Audi with minor injuries.
EMS crews transported all three occupants to a hospital. There, Chadwick died from his injuries.
Police do not suspect impairment was a contributing factor behind the collision.
