News: Police investigate hit-and-run crash in north Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, the Phoenix Police Department is investigating a deadly hit-and-run that killed a man near N 35th Ave and W Peoria Ave on Feb 27.

Two drivers struck Aaron Hornedo, 36, as he was walking in the crosswalk around 6 a.m.

First responders transported Hornedo to an area hospital, where he died.

Following the collision, both drivers fled the scene.

Authorities believe one of the vehicles was a small white car.
