News: Police investigate fatal crash in south Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – One person died and two others were hurt in a two-vehicle collision at S 19th Ave and W Olney Ave Tuesday, according to AZ Family.

A person driving a blue car at excessive speeds crashed into an SUV around 5:30 p.m.

Emergency responders transported two men and one woman from the SUV to an area hospital where one of the men, Forrest Wade, 58, died from his injuries. The other man and the woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities do not believe impairment was a factor in the collision but may charge the driver as they continue investigating the accident.
