MESA, AZ – According to 12 News, the Mesa Police Department is investigating a deadly three-vehicle collision that happened at E Southern Ave and S Gilbert Rd on Saturday.
Joseph Christenson, 45, was driving a car east on E Southern Ave when he strayed into oncoming traffic and collided with a bus before hitting a truck around 5:30 a.m.
Emergency crews extricated Christenson from the car and pronounced him dead at the scene.
Nobody else was hurt in the incident.
It is unclear if impairment or a medical issue caused the wreck.
