PHOENIX, AZ – The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that happened near N 35th Ave and W Van Buren St on Sunday, according to 12 News.
Sergio De Le Torre Quintero, 20, was driving west on W Van Buren St when he failed to stop at a red light and collided with a vehicle heading north on N 35th Ave around 5 a.m.
Crews pronounced Quintero dead at the scene and transported five other people to an area hospital.
Authorities believe speed and impairment played a role in the wreck.
