News: Police investigate deadly auto vs. pedestrian crash near Sunset Knoll

PHOENIX, AZ – The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a fatal auto vs. pedestrian collision that happened near N 67th Ave and W Clarendon Rd on Wednesday, according to 12 News.

A person driving an SUV hit Michelle Soto, 26, as she was standing in the road outside a crosswalk around 6 a.m.

Rescue crews pronounced Soto dead at the scene.

Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
