PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, the Phoenix Police Department is investigating a fatal collision that occurred near North 43rd Avenue and West Orangewood Avenue Friday night.
Donnie Martinez, 23, was heading north on North 43rd Avenue when he strayed into oncoming traffic and hit a vehicle operated by Ricardo Quintero around 10:30 p.m.
First responders transported both drivers to the hospital, where they died.
A toxicology test will determine if impairment was a factor in the collision.
