News: Police investigate auto vs. pedestrian collision near Uptown

PHOENIX, AZ – According to 12 News, a suspected impaired driver collided with and injured a male pedestrian near N 7th Ave and W Coolidge St on Sunday.

The driver was heading north on 7th Ave when they struck the pedestrian as they were crossing the street around 2 a.m.

Rescue crews transported the victim and the driver to area hospitals. The pedestrian was admitted in critical condition and the driver was admitted with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the incident.
