News: Police cruiser strikes, injures pedestrian near Madoma Manor

PHOENIX, AZ – A Phoenix police officer driving a marked patrol vehicle collided with a male pedestrian near N 27th Ave and W  Campbell Ave Monday, according to AZ Family.

The officer hit the victim while crossing the street around 8:15 p.m.

Rescue crews transported the man to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities do not believe speed played a role in the incident.
