CASA GRANDE, AZ– A pilot was left with life-threatening injuries after a plane rollover collision near the Casa Grande Municipal Airport on Friday.
Fox10Phoenix said the pilot was experiencing an engine failure and attempted an emergency landing. However, in doing so, he crashed into his lane, and it overturned as a result. The plane did not catch on fire.
The pilot was conscious and able to get out on his own prior to the arrival of first responders.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be leading the investigation.
