MESA, AZ – One person is dead and three others are injured following a two-vehicle crash on S Sossaman Rd near E Baseline Rd Friday, according to AZ Family.
The driver of a Ford pickup truck was heading south on Sossaman Rd and was passing a vehicle when he collided head-on with a Toyota Prius driver heading north around 4 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the Prius driver, a 47-year-old man, dead at the scene. They transported the 39-year-old pickup truck driver and three children from the pickup truck to an area hospital.
Authorities are working to determine if the pickup truck driver was impaired.
