PHOENIX, AZ – The Phoenix Police Department was called to a multi-car crash involving a train that occurred in the Shamrock Center area on Friday.
Police told Fox10Phoenix that the incident unfolded when a train crashed into a car that was stopped on the train tracks at the intersection of North 31st Avenue and Grand Avenue.
Police reported injuries, but did not confirm how many people were hurt nor have they disclosed the extent of those injuries. Officers said two other vehicles were involved, but specified the roles they played leading to the collision.
