QUEEN CREEK, AZ – A person was killed in a bicycle crash that happened on Thanksgiving Day in Queen Creek.
The cyclist was struck by a vehicle while cycling on Combs Road, east of Gantzel Road, according to 12News. Queen Creek police said the collision happened after 11:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, police declared the victim dead at the scene.
Police do not believe the driver was speeding or impaired while operating their vehicle.
The victim’s name will be released upon notification of the next of kin.
