PHOENIX, AZ – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in northeast Phoenix last Friday night.
According to a report by ABC 15, the unidentified man was attempting to cross 29th Street at Bell Road around 11 p.m. when he was hit.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
The driver involved fled the scene before officers arrived. It is unclear at this time if any arrests have been made in connection to the deadly crash.
