PHOENIX, AZ – A man was killed late Wednesday night when he was hit by a vehicle in east Phoenix, Fox 10 reports.
The victim was attempting to cross Van Buren Street near 28th Street when he was hit by a sedan.
The man, whose identity is unclear at this time, was rushed to a local hospital, where he died a short time later. Police say he was crossing outside of the designated crosswalk when the incident occurred.
The driver remained at the scene. It is unclear if any charges will be filed at this time.
