MARANA, AZ – A pedestrian was rushed to the hospital after being hit by a train in the Marana area early Thursday.
According to KOLD, the man was hit by a Union Pacific train on the tracks crossing Cortaro Road near I-10 at about 7 a.m.
The unidentified man was hospitalized in unknown condition.
Cortaro Road was closed for over two hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
