News: Officer strikes, injures pedestrian in Avondale

AVONDALE, AZ – According to CBS 5, an Avondale police officer collided with a pedestrian near S 108th Ave and W Madison St on Monday.

The officer hit the victim around 12:25 a.m.

Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The officer was not injured in the crash.

The Goodyear Police Department is investigating the incident.
