CHANDLER, AZ – One person went to the hospital in serious condition Tuesday afternoon after multiple vehicles collided at an intersection in Chandler, reports abc15 Arizona.
Police say the incident happened before 3:40 p.m. near the intersection of Arizona Avenue and Queen Creek Road.
The circumstances of the accident are unclear at this time, but authorities say five people suffered minor injuries while one person was critically injured.
Officials encouraged drivers to seek alternate routes while crews investigated and cleared the scene.
