GLENDALE, AZ – According to FOX 10, a motorcyclist lost his arm in a hit-and-run collision on Northern Ave near 73rd Ave on June 14.
Austin Burgin, 32, was riding a motorcycle when a driver struck him. The driver then fled the scene. Authorities eventually located and arrested the driver.
Burgin suffered a torn diaphragm, fractured ribs, and a compound fracture. His stomach and intestines are near his left lung. He has undergone multiple surgeries to save his left leg and pelvis.
