PHOENIX, AZ – A man suffered fatal injuries when his motorcycle collided with an SUV in northwest Phoenix early Saturday.
According to the Arizona Republic, the incident took place at about 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of 17th Avenue and Thunderbird Road.
Officers say the motorcyclist, and unidentified man, was riding at a high rate of speed when his bike slammed into an SUV. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he died a short time later.
The driver of the SUV was unhurt and did not show signs of impairment at the scene.
