COTTONWOOD, AZ – A mother ran over and killed a 13-month-old toddler outside a home on Western Dr in Cotton Wood on July 6, according to AZ Family.
The woman left her child in a car seat on the ground near her car so she could reposition her vehicle. The car’s front tire got caught on the car seat, which caused it to fall into the vehicle’s path.
First responders transported the child to an area hospital, where they died.
The incident is under investigation.
