PHOENIX, AZ – One man’s life was claimed in a pedestrian-vehicle crash in the Maryvale neighborhood on Thursday, AZ Family reports.
The male pedestrian was struck by a westbound vehicle in the area of 26th Avenue and McDowell Road.
Phoenix Police, EMS, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene before 7:30 p.m. Upon arrival, medical personnel rushed the man, who was found lying on the road, to a hospital.
The male pedestrian later died from his injuries.
Phoenix Police confirmed the driver stayed at the scene, but did not say if they would face citations.
