News: Man’s life claimed in pedestrian collision in Broadway Estates

PHOENIX, AZ – A man’s life was claimed in a pedestrian collision that took place in the Broadway Estates area on Tuesday, AZFamily reports.

The male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the area of South 24th Street and East Broadway Road around 12 a.m., according to police.

EMS crews rushed to the scene and transported the pedestrian to a hospital, where he later died. Officials did not confirm whether he used a marked crosswalk.

Police said the driver of the truck stayed at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
