APACHE JUNCTION, AZ – A man pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and aggravated assault for a deadly DUI collision that occurred on U.S. 60 near S Mountain View Rd on Jan. 20, according to AZFamily.
Adam Parker, 38, was driving a truck erratically and going the wrong way on eastbound U.S. 60 when he collided head-on with an SUV driven by Elizabeth McAloon, 28, around 9:30 p.m.
Rescue crews transported McAloon and her 7-year-old daughter to an area hospital, where McAloon died.
Parker had a blood alcohol concentration of .263. He had two previous DUI convictions.
