CENTRAL PHOENIX, AZ – A man was hospitalized after a pedestrian collision that happened in Central Phoenix around 5 a.m. on Monday, AZ Family reports.
A driver of a blue sedan struck the man as he was crossing the intersection of 27th Avenue and Buckeye Road.
EMS personnel hurried to the scene and transported the male pedestrian to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Phoenix police shut down Buckeye Road for several hours before reopening the area.
