SCOTTSDALE, AZ – A man died after a wreck pinned between a truck and a trailer near N Lone Mountain Pkwy and E Stagecoach Pass on Friday, according to AZFamily.
Thomas D. Henry, 57, was standing between a truck and a trailer parked on the shoulder around 9 a.m. when another driver slammed into the trailer. The trailer was propelled forward, and Henry was pinned between it and the truck.
Rescue crews pronounced Henry dead at the scene.
The Scottsdale Police Vehicle Crimes and Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident. They do not believe impairment was a factor but are investigating whether speed played a role in the crash.
Following the collision, emergency crews closed the area to process the scene.
