PHOENIX, AZ – A male pedestrian was hospitalized after a hit-and-run collision in Weston Park on Tuesday.
Fox10Phoenix said the crash occurred in the area of West Broadway Road and South 6th Avenue. The driver immediately fled the scene.
Based on what Phoenix Police know so far, it seems the driver was operating a light-colored passenger van.
First responders said the pedestrian is expected to survive.
Authorities shut down the intersection, but have since reopened the area.
