News: Male pedestrian fatally struck by hit-and-run vehicle in Phoenix 

PHOENIX, AZ – A male pedestrian died after being struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in the Carlotta Place area on Sunday. 

The hit-and-run collision occurred around 8 p.m. at the intersection of South 19th Street & East Broadway Road, 12News said. 

The hit-and-run driver fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival. 

The male pedestrian was initially left in critical condition and then succumbed to his injuries. 

Phoenix Police have not released the decedent’s identity.  

Police are actively working to determine what the suspect and their vehicle looked like.
