News: Local authorities suspect DUI driver in fatal Mesa crash on EB US 60

MESA, AZ – Local authorities suspect one of the drivers involved in the fatal crash on EB US 60 on Wednesday was impaired.

This is an update to a previous post.

According to AZ Family, a Mercedes Benz, driven by 27-year-old Kimball Anthony Pardini, was speeding on EB US 60 near S. Sossaman Rd. and hit a pickup truck around 3 a.m. The pickup rolled over due to the impact of the crash.

Both the male driver and a male passenger of the pickup were pronounced dead at the crash scene. Neither was wearing a seat belt. Both men were thrown from their vehicles.

Pardini was transported to Banner Desert Hospital for unknown injuries. DPS suspects he was impaired at the time of the crash.
