MESA, AZ – A 4-year-old child was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver near the intersection of E. Main St. and S. Mesa Dr. on Sunday afternoon.
According to ABC15, a driver struck the child, drove onto the light rail tracks, then fled the crash scene. Police are investigating the crash and searching for the driver. They do not deem parent negligence as a factor in the crash.
