PHOENIX, AZ – According to CBS 5, a hit-and-run driver collided with and injured a male pedestrian near 51st Ave and Virginia Ave on Saturday.
The driver was heading south on 51st Ave when he struck the victim outside a crosswalk around 1:45 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the pedestrian to an area hospital with critical injuries.
Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the incident to call Silent Witness.
