News: Hit-and-run driver strikes, injures pedestrian in Carefree

PHOENIX, AZ – According to CBS 5, a hit-and-run driver collided with a female pedestrian near N Tom Darlington Dr and E Stagecoach Pass on Feb. 12.

The driver of a light-colored sedan struck Susan Nelson, 55, around 6:30 a.m.

Rescue crews transported Nelson to an area hospital following the collision.

Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the incident to contact the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
