News: Hit-and-run driver collides with child riding bike near Apollo High School

GLENDALE, AZ – A hit-and-run driver struck a 13-year-old boy riding a bicycle near N 47th Ave and W Northern Ave on Thursday, according to 12 News.

The driver hit the victim around 7:30 p.m.

Following the collision, the driver fled the area.

Rescue crews transported the boy to an area hospital in critical condition.

Authorities have not identified the suspect’s vehicle.
