SCOTTSDALE, AZ – A wrong-way driver died, and two other people went to the hospital after an early morning crash in Scottsdale on Saturday, reports abc15 Arizona.
The incident happened just before 2 a.m. on Loop 101 to the north of Shea Boulevard, which is just north of HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center.
Police say that three vehicles collided when a southbound driver entered the northbound lanes of Loop 101.
The wrong-way driver died at the scene of the crash. Authorities have not yet released their identity.
A full investigation is underway.
