GLENDALE, AZ – According to AZ Family, a driver fatally collided with a pedestrian near N 47th Ave and W Bethany Home Rd Tuesday.
The driver was heading west on W Bethany Home Rd on a green light when they hit the woman crossing in the crosswalk against a “no walk” signal around 4 a.m.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene.
Authorities do not believe impairment played a role in the incident.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
