News: Female pedestrian seriously hurt in hit-and-run crash in Scottsdale 

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – A female pedestrian was seriously hurt in a hit-and-run crash that occurred in the Papago Parkway area around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Scottsdale police believe the female pedestrian was not using a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a vehicle in the area of North Scottsdale Road and East Belleview Street, AZFamily reports.

The driver immediately fled the scene in their car prior to the first responders’ arrival.

EMS crews rushed the female pedestrian to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Officials shut down southbound Scottsdale Road along Belleview Street for the scene clean-up process. A full investigation is underway.
