PHOENIX, AZ – A driver fatally collided with a woman near S 27th St and Broadway Rd on Friday, according to CBS 5.
The driver hit the woman as she crossed the street outside of a marked crosswalk around 3:30 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the woman to an area hospital, where she died.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene. Authorities do not believe the driver was impaired.
Officials have not released the name of the victim.
