PHOENIX, AZ – A driver fatally collided with a pedestrian near 51st Ave and Baseline Rd Wednesday, according to AZ Family.
The driver hit the male victim outside a marked crosswalk around 8 p.m.
Rescue crews rushed the man to an area hospital, where he died.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Police do not believe impairment played a role in the incident.
