GLENDALE, AZ – A driver fatally collided with a female pedestrian who was jaywalking near N 67th Ave and W Rose Ln Monday, according to AZ Family.
The driver hit the 80-year-old woman around 5 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene of the accident.
Authorities do not believe impairment was a factor in the incident.
