TEMPE, AZ – According to AZ Family, a driver collided with a pedestrian near W Elliot Rd and S Kyrene Rd Wednesday.
The driver was heading south on Kyrene Rd when they struck the victim around 12 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital.
Authorities do not believe speed or impairment played a role in the collision.
