News: Driver rear-ends, injures motorcyclist on Loop 303 in Waddell

WADDELL, AZ – A driver struck and injured a motorcyclist on Loop 303 near W Peoria Ave on Monday, according to AZFamily.

A 34-year-old woman was driving a pickup truck when she struck the rear of a motorcycle ridden by a 36-year-old man around 2:30 a.m.

The collision ejected the motorcyclist from the bike. He remained on the roadway until a passerby dragged him off of it.

Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The pickup truck driver was not hurt in the collision.

Authorities do not believe impairment was a factor in the crash. However, fatigue might be.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
