PHOENIX, AZ – A driver was sent to the hospital after they crashed their car into a tree stump and a fence on Friday, AZFamily said.
Preliminary details reveal that a person driving a red sedan may have suffered a medical episode, which is what ultimately led to a single-car crash off Seventh Avenue and Broadway Road.
The driver of the red sedan sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Phoenix closed the road for a few hours and told drivers to avoid the area for the overall scene-cleanup process and investigation.
