News: Driver hits woman pushing wheelchair near Los Olivos Public Park Place Plaza

PHOENIX, AZ – A driver struck and injured a woman pushing a wheelchair near N 30th St and E Indian School Rd on Saturday, according to AZFamily.

The driver was heading west on Indian School Rd when they hit a woman pushing her wheelchair across the street around 5 a.m.

Paramedics transported the woman to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene. They did not display signs of impairment.

Crews shut down the area so authorities could investigate the incident.
