PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZ Family, a driver fatally collided with a pedestrian near N Cave Creek Rd and E Hatcher Rd Tuesday.
The driver was heading south on Cave Creek Rd when they hit Tyler Stearns in a marked crosswalk against a “do not cross signal” around 8 p.m.
Rescue crews transported Stearns to an area hospital, where he died.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene.
The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the collision.
