PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, a driver struck and killed a motorcyclist at N 35th Ave and W Dunlap Ave on Friday.
Mea Ortiz, 19, was riding a motorcycle east on W Dunlap Ave when a driver pulled out in front of her and hit her around 6:30 a.m.
First responders transported Ortiz to an area hospital, where she died.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene. They did not display signs of impairment.
Crews shut down the area to process the scene. The area was reopened by 10:45 a.m.
